Our Father in heaven

Hallowed be thy name
Your name is beautiful and holy.
It is a blessing to all who call upon your name.
You are worthy of honor and praise.

Thy kingdom come
Your kingdom is here, all around us.
Although we cannot see it, Your Holy presence surrounds us.
You are in us and we are in You.
Your kingdom is the spiritual realm.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Let your good works be accomplished on earth as they are in heaven.
Everything you set out to do is always successfully completed.
Let us walk along side you and be used for your holy purposes.
Lord, we offer our lives to your service.

Give us this day our daily bread
Provide us with everything we need today as You always do.
Give us the financial resources we need.
Grant us healing from all sickness and diseases.
Strengthen our marriages and other relationships.
Give us the strength and courage we need to face another day.

And forgive us out trespasses
Forgive us when we sin against your holy commandments.
Sometimes we choose to disobey you and go our own way.
We foolishly think we can manage our lives better than You can.
We hurt ourselves and those around us.
We pull away from your holy, life-sustaining presence.

As we forgive those who trespass against us
Help us to forgive those who have done us wrong.
We know that we will be forgiven as much as we forgive our brothers and sisters.
This could be either a blessing or a curse depending on our choices.
Help us to forgive completely and to deal with others in perfect love as Jesus did.

And lead us not into temptation
Help us to resist those things which would cause us to sin.
Help us to control our thoughts which are the birthplace of sin.
We think that we are strong and that we will not be enticed by bad things.
However, we are weak and easily tricked into doing things we would like to avoid.

But deliver us from evil
Keep us free from things which would harm us or separate us from You Lord.
Keep us free from sickness, disease, danger, and anxiety.
Help us to walk in your light.
